Starting XIs: Bafana Bafana v Congo DR

Bafana Bafana draw the curtain on their Africa Cup of Nations campaign to a close with a third/fourth place play-off clash against the Democratic Republic Congo at the Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny on Saturday.

It was heartbreak for both nations in the semi-finals, as Bafana suffered a penalty shoot-out loss to Nigeria before the Leopards succumbed to host Ivory Coast.

That necessitated the two nations squaring off in a clash where the winner gets third-place and a bronze medal.

It's been a gruelling past two matches for Bafana that both went down the wire against Cape Verde and the Super Eagles.

The Leopards didn't have the same stretch, but settled in the course of regulation time with Guinea and the Elephants.

Bafana, though, won't be able to call on the reliable Grant Kekana at the back due to suspension after he was red carded late in extra-time against Nigeria.

This will be the second clash between the two in an Afcon, as Bafana won 1-0 in the group stages of the 2000 edition.

Kick-off is at 22h00.

Confirmed line-ups:

South Africa: Williams, Xulu, Sibisi, Modiba, Mudau, Sithole, Mokoena, Zwane, Mayambela, Morena, Makgopa

Subs: Mothwa, Goss, Mobbie, Appollis, Adams, Monare, Lepasa

Congo DR: Yaka, Kifutu, Buduka, Ditu, Mbemba, Tshibola, Diangana, Moutoussamy, Bongonda, Katompa, Bokote
