Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos has announced his final squad for the two upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria and Zimbabwe respectively.
A fortnight ago, the Belgian-born mentor announced a 36-man squad, and has now trimmed it to 23 players as South Africa's senior national team aim to top Group C by the end of the upcoming international break.

Only the winners of the nine groups made up of CAF-affiliated nations earn automatic qualification to the showpiece to be held in the United States of America, Canada and Mexico in two years' time.
Burnley striker Lyle Foster, who had to be excused from national duty for the Africa Cup of Nations at the beginning of the year due to mental health struggles, is back in the reckoning, while FCSB defender Siyabonga Ngezana has earned a well-deserved recall.
Bafana first face the Super Eagles away in Uyo, Nigeria on 7 June, before meeting Zimbabwe in Bloemfontein four days later.
As expected, Mamelodi Sundowns have the most representation in the squad, with nine players selected, while Orlando Pirates have three.
The two giants of Mzansi football will do battle in the Nedbank Cup final at Mbombela Stadium on Saturday, after which the selected players from the two camps will link up with Bafana in camp before leaving for Nigeria.
