Wydad Casablanca qualified for the CAF Champions League quarter-finals after defeating USM Alger, while Zamalek and TP Mazembe shared the spoils in Friday's group stage action.
Wydad Casablanca 3-1 USM Alger
Wydad took an early two-goal lead thanks to Walid El Karti and Badie Aouk while Kazadi Kasengu gave the side a healthy three-goal lead at the break.
The Algerians were out firing in the second half and grabbed a consolation courtesy of Mohamed Meftah, as USM remains winless with a match to go.
Wydad finds themselves in second-spot and will need Mamelodi Sundowns to lose on Saturday if they have hopes of finishing as group winners.

Zamalek 0-0 TP Mazembe
Zamalek and TP Mazembe cancelled each other out with a goalless draw in a Group A clash at the Al-Salam Stadium in Cairo.
With both sides already in the knockout stages, the result proved no issue with Mazembe topping the group and the White Knights in second spot heading to the final round.
Mazembe end their group stage campaign with a clash at home to ZESCO UNited, while Zamalek travel to Primeiro de Agosto in round six.
