Lebusa: We have to dig deep

Mamelodi Sundowns captain Mosa Lebusa has urged his teammates to "dig deep" against Maniema Union in their attempts to qualify for the group stages of the CAF Champions League.

Sundowns welcome the Congolese side to Loftus Versfeld Stadium in a return leg of a Second preliminary round clash on Sunday.

"I think we were a little bit disappointed considering that we gave them two goals due to our silly mistakes we committed," Lebusa said ahead of Sunday's clash.

"They are not a bad side. They are a team that plays in your face, and they don't give you space.

"We've learnt from the previous game coming into Sunday, that we have to dig deep as players to make sure we go to the group stages."

Sundowns have made an impressive start to the 2021/2022 season and remain unbeaten in all competitions and are to contest the MTN8 final against Cape Town City at the Moses Mabhida Stadium next week Saturday.
