Erasmus urges teamwork for return leg

The 24-year-old and his teammates will take a 2-1 lead to East Africa and the marksman believes Pirates can hold their own against the home side at Mandela National Stadium in Kampala on Saturday.

“It is about working for each other, going the extra mile when one player can’t and that means we will push each other to want to win,” he tells snl24.com/kickoff.

“It is also about making sure that we capitalise on the chances we create - that will ease the pressure. It is about being united and stick with one another until the end,” he adds.

Pirates defender Happy Jele, who scored an own goal in the first leg, sings the same tune as Erasmus.

“If we can work together as a team like we did in the Champions League we can go to the final,” he concludes.
