The Buccaneers are through to the CAF Confederation Cup semifinal to face Al-Ahly over two legs, but are coming off the back of a 4-1 thumping by Zamalek in their final group game in Cairo.
Nyauza says they need to be better in the match against Ahly if the hope to erase the bad memories of 2013.
“Obviously facing Al-Ahly in the semifinals, we have to go there and prepare ourselves. We have to worked hard and rectify our mistakes,” he says.
“It's a lesson for us, and we have learnt from our mistakes. We just have to go and rectify them at training.”
Pirates will host Al-Ahly in the first leg at Orlando Stadium and Nyauza knows the important of getting a result at home.
“The first leg is very important because it's an advantage; it will determine whether we will go through to the final or not. So it is vital for us to go there and play our best.”
