'Everyone would love to wear Chiefs jersey' - Mdantsane

Cape Town City midfielder Mdu Mdantsane admits that playing for Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs would be an attractive proposition for any player amid reported interest for his services.

Mdantsane is currently in the final six months of his current contract at City and is free to sign a pre-contract agreement elsewhere.

"I want to focus on moving the team to a better position on the table, any other stuff we will discuss them at the end of the season, right now we want to get the team back to where it was, which is winning and going on top

"Right now I have a contract with Cape Town City and I want to respect that.

"Whatever happens at the end of my contract happens, I'm happy here, and that's where my contract is right now.

"Kaizer Chiefs is a big team, and everyone would love to wear that jersey, but as I have said, right now my focus is where I'm contracted."

Mdantsane can play both as an attacking midfielder and a central midfielder.
