Former Orlando Pirates midfielder Mark Mayambela has attained his UEFA B license diploma as he pursues a career in coaching since calling time on his playing career.
'Professor ' has joined former Pirates teammates such as Daine Klate to complete his coaching qualifications since retiring.
"I am happy, I am really proud of this journey and excited for this journey as well," Mayambela tells KickOff.

"It's been a long journey being busy with this course, and I'm finally done and proud of myself.
"I needed to be patient a bit. I have also enrolled for the A License, which I will do next year in April with the Irish FA, which is also one year course".

"So, it's a journey that is good for me, that's a journey I am proud of and happy.
"I have been doing other supplementary courses, which will also help me become a better coach.
"It's been nice, and one step at a time what is important for is empowering myself by doing more coaching courses."
Mayambela is currently employed as a youth coach at Cape Town City where he also spent a spell as a player.
