Further revelations have been made on Angolan striker Jo Paciencia after he made a scoring debut for Cape Town City on Sunday.
Paciencia scored with a late header against Polokwane City to hand the hosts all three points while also elevating himself to among the players who scored on their DStv Premiership debuts who included Lucas Ribeiro Costa of Mamelodi Sundowns and Siyanda Mthanti (Golden Arrows).

For Paciencia, it was the kind of start that has already attracted the man who was his head coach at the club that he played for prior to landing at City.
"He played with us last season as a second striker and is definitely a good striker worthy of playing in the PSL," Luis Goncalves, the Interclube coach tells KickOff.

Paciencia linked up with City from Interclube of Angola where he played after joining from Sagrada Esperanca and has also previously been at Petro Luanda.
"In joining us at Interclube he had come in from Sagrada Esperanca after having been champions with them.
"I found him at the club and was our supporting striker because we played with Jorginho as the top striker who ended as the third top scorer in the league.
"However, I must make it known that Jo Paciencia is a very good player who will use the opportunity at Cape Town City to good effect.
"When you work with players, and they get to have chances to move to better leagues we are always happy about it.

"When I heard about the possibility of that Jo could be heading to Cape Town City, I sent John Comitis a message telling him that he has found himself a good option.
"I know Jo for how clever a player he is despite that he didn't score a lot of goals last season.
"For his work ethic, you can never question him plus he is a good professional.
"I believe that he is going to grow in the PSL because this is a league with different demands.

"With us at Interclube and this is only my opinion, he could play number nine but was more suited to being a second striker or even a winger.
"For me, he is a forward but not a classical number nine.
"What gives him the edge is his intelligence.
"He is clever in how he moves around the pitch and plays on the transition to good effect because he waits for the right moments which means his game also has assists.
"Jo Paciencia has the quality to make it in the PSL," says Goncalves who remains popular with his former players including Kaizer Chiefs defender Edmilson Dove and Bienvenu Eva Nga (Orlando Pirates).
