With Cape Town Spurs battling in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, CEO Alexi Efstathiou has discussed whether they will listen to offers for the likes of Asanele Velebayi.
Chiefs successfully negotiated the transfer of defender Rushwin Dortley from Spurs in the previous window.
Amakhosi also made an official bid for Velebayi, which was rejected, as the Urban Warriors deemed Chiefs' offer below their own valuation of the 21-year-old.

The transfer saga became somewhat bitter, after Efstathiou accused Amakhosi of going behind their backs and allegedly engaging the parents Velebayi, to force Spurs to sell.
However, the Cape Town side stood their ground and even made the 21-year-old captain, after they had their own run-in with the winger, who seemingly wanted to join Chiefs, from hints on his official Instagram account.
Spurs are currently struggling in the National First Division and their priority going into the new year will be to save the status of the team.

Would Spurs be willing to listen to offers, with Orlando Pirates also reportedly interested in Velebayi and preparing a bid in the January transfer window?
"I'm not discussing him (Velebayi) any more, I'm done with that," Efstathiou responded to KickOff.
However, when asked to comment in general terms, Efstathiou was more open.
"For any player, if there's a request for a player and we get a written offer, we will consider it," Efstathiou said.
According to Soccer Laduma, Pirates are prepared to go all out to sign Velebayi next month, who is reportedly valued at R10 million.
Siya sources suggests The Buccaneers would be willing to add a few players in the deal to lure the Philippi native winger to Houghton.
It remains to be seen if Chiefs will revive their interest in Velebayi, who is believed to be in favour of a move to the south of Johannesburg.
