Cape Town Spurs interim coach Sean Connor bemoaned the side's slow start to the game against Kaizer Chiefs.
Spurs twice reduced a two-goal deficit, after Luvuyo Phewa brought them back into the game following two goals from Chiefs by Edson Castillo and Ranga Chivaviro.
It looked as if the Urban Warriors were dead and buried after Christian Saile made it 3-1 for Amakhosi with seven minutes to go but the Cape Town side still had a fight in them, as 17-year old Luke Baartman made it 3-2 in the last minute.

Connor says the game got away from them after conceding two early goals.
"For me started poorly, we spoke to the players when they came in, the warm up was excellent, we were confident going out but you cannot give a team like Kaizer Chiefs, who were, let's face it, above players, can't give them a two-goal lead," Connor told SuperSport TV.
"What I liked after that is that we showed a bit of faith, we got ourselves back in the game and I think in the second-half we were a far better team. We hit the crossbar, half an inch and that's in, it's a totally different game.
"We were slow, we worked on a high press, we were stepping off, we dropped back too deep, we gave them too much respect," he said.
The Northern Irish tactician continued and says they take a lot of positives after playing back-to-back matches against Orlando Pirates and Chiefs.
"That's my job, my job is to go pick them up. Look, we've just come off Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs, we've got three points in the bag, I don't think a lot of people would have given us those three points, so that's the positive we've got to take," he said.
"The way we finished the game is a positive we've got to take. My job is to refocus, look at the mistakes, look back and see why we started so poorly and make the changes necessary," he added.
