Chippa United's new signing, Boy Madingwana, who was at the centre of a contractual war of words between two clubs, is a relieved man after making his debut in the Betway Premiership on Wednesday.
Madingwana signed a three-year deal with Chippa prior to the beginning of the season, believing his contract with Baroka FC had expired, unaware that the Ga-Mphahlele outfit had triggered the one-year option.

On Wednesday, he finally made his Chilli Boys debut, against Sekhukhune United, after the two sides managed to sort out their differences.
"Everything is fine now. I played my first game yesterday. I don't know what changed. I'm happy I will be playing football again. I'm not sure what the issue was," declares Madingwana, speaking exclusively to KickOff.
For his part, Baroka chairman Khurishi Mphahlele, speaking to this website on Thursday, explained why they have allowed Chippa to play the versatile against Babina Noko.
"Yes, Madingwane is now a Chippa United player, 'Mhlekazi' [Chippa Mpengesi] has finally paid us for his services," says Mphahlele.
"He paid at the 11th hour, everything happened on Friday night on the last day of the transfer window.
"These agents are the ones confusing the chairmen and club owners, you know.
"But Chippa United as well, I wrote him a letter from the beginning. I'm sure he's not been checking his emails.
"I wrote him a letter Chippa Mpengesi, informing him about the issue, but he decided to keep quiet. He told me he didn't see my emails.

"But I can confirm now that everything has been sorted out, the man paid."
Chippa and Sekhukhune played to a 1-1 draw.
