Let's take a closer look at who said what...

KO Comments

Sundowns co-coach Rulani Mokwena was very frank about his thoughts on the progress of Bongani Zungu's conditioning since the midfielder made his return to Chloorkop.

The "Mokwena unhappy with Zungu progress since high-profile move" story drew a lot of backlash from commenters.

Here's what they had to say:

"Rulani must be very careful of this Mourhino style of criticising your own players in the media. That approach got the Special One fired at Real Madrid, Manchester United and Hotspurs," says Evangelist_NS.

"Sundowns are now being exposed as to why (real reason) they signed Ben 10! We all know it was just a mere snub towards Chiefs, and now they don't have any choice.

"All these sorts of excuses will pop out as times goes on. Just recently, Manqoba was applauding Bongani for the hard work he puts at training and blah blah. Boom, Mokwena is lamenting his weight. Time will tell!" says Thami Tiki 0503.

After Bimenyimana's hat-trick of penalties against Stellenbosch on Sunday, he's been tipped as the favourite to outlast Peter Shalulile as the top goal scorer in the DStv Premiership.

Here's how fans reacted on the "Bimenyimana tipped to finish as DStv Premiership top-scorer" story:

"He can score more goals but I don't see him surpassing Shalulile. Shalulile is on another level. Caleb has 4 penalty goes so they are not on the same level," says Thabotouchme.

"The only way he will not be a top goal scorer is if the opposition teams do not concede penalties by kicking our players and handling the ball," says Sugarcane.

"Caleb Haaland Bimenyimana... Another hat-trick against Chippa," says a confident Khahlanamfundo85.

On a sadder note, Zambia and Brighton Hove player Enock Mwepu has been forced to end his footballer career due to an hereditary heart condition.

A fan was quick to suggest how Mwepu can stay close to the game on the "BREAKING: African star forced to retire aged 24" story:

"This is sad hey, all the best in your next journey African Brother.... do those coaching badges."
