Let's take a closer look at what the readers had to say...

KO Comments

Runaway DStv Premiership leaders Mamelodi Sundowns are well on their way to retain the title with a strong 14 point lead ahead of the chasing pack.

On paper, Masandawana are in red hot form with an eleven-match winning streak.

On the "Rulani makes honest admission over Sundowns form" story, Mokwena admits that his troops haven't been playing at their best in recent matches but applauds his players for managing to still grind out wins.

This is what the readers had to say on Mokwena's comments:

"Chippa's coach has Made teams aware that if you go toe to toe with Sundowns, they're actually less lethal than if you're parking the bus. SuperSport proved the same.

"This is not new with Downs, it will be interesting to see how we fare in the next 3 games. Rhu [Rulani] let's see your plan B and why you're better than Manqoba," says 999@MKM.

"To all Downs Supporters, please be careful. People are becoming angry and emotional as soon as you start talking about football nowadays," says ngwanamoshate.70, who goes on to add:

"Next four fixtures for the Mighty Downs before the 10th of Feb 2023(CAF starting date), Chiefs, Galaxy, Sekhukhune and Pirates. If we can collect all 12 points then we are home and dry. We can seriously concentrate on CAF things knowing very well that the league is done."

During Orlando Pirates' 3-1 thrashing over Golden Arrows, a Buccaneers loanee Ntsako Makhubela displayed some Kasi Flavour skills while the Durbanites were trailing 1-0...

On the "Vilakazi weighs in on Makhubela's Kasi Flavour" story, the young Arrows boss stated that he had no issue with Makhubela's showboating, even though it received plenty of criticism from fans on social media.

KO readers were also not too impressed with Makhubela's piece of skill:

"Does Pirates actually teach this thing? I mean it's always Pirates players that do this senseless thing. Despicable if you tell me. My village club coach would have substituted him even if we were winning by 5-0," Sva2022.

"Backwards soccer that, dribbling himself without a purpose," says user165539.

"This is one of the reasons he did not play at OPFC.." says tbsafrica.
