Out of contract former Kaizer Chiefs attacker Khama Billiat could turn his back on the chance at personal goalscoring accolades with a potential transfer move away from the DStv Premiership.
Billiat is now without a club for the first time since arriving in South Africa as a teenager back in July 2010.

The 33-year-old's five-year stint with Kaizer Chiefs came to an end in June after failing to agree terms on a new deal.
What this means is that the former Zimbabwe international can now move on to a new club as a free agent and is working on a move that will suit his situation at present.
Speculation has linked Billiat with a move to the Middle East with engagements having been made about Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Morocco, and Qatar.
There has also been an attempt to test the risky Turkish market where cases of unpaid salaries at some clubs are prevalent.
Further rumours have suggested that he is due to sign for Zamalek but that is unlikely as the Egyptian giants have a running transfer ban.
Zamalek have outstanding monies that they must pay Sporting Lisbon for the transfer of Mahmoud Shikabala.
The five-time African champions are also not in a good financial standing at present with the entire board of directors at the club having resigned on Sunday with elections to sort out the mess at the club coming up.
So, there is little chance that the club will sign Billiat considering that his annual package will have to be in the region of USD 500 000 (approx. R9,5 million).
Locally, Royal AM showed interest with club boss Shauwn Mkhize willing to stretch her budget to accommodate Billiat, but the FIFA transfer ban has left them prohibited from registering new players.

While 'time will tell' about matters relating to his playing future there is the issue of joining the class of those that have scored 100 goals playing for a South African top league team.
Billiat has 97 goals to his name in the colours of the three clubs that he has played for in South Africa – Ajax Cape Town, Mamelodi Sundowns, and Chiefs.
The diminutive forward needs a further three goals to join Siyabonga Nomvete, Daniel Mudau, Mabhuti Khenyeza, Manuel 'Tico-Tico' Bucuane, Collins Mbesuma, Bradley Grobler, and Peter Shalulile as the only players to ever reach triple figures while attached to a South African top league club.
Last season (2022/23) was the first time that Billiat completed without a goal to his name through the 13 years that he has played in South Africa.
Billiat last scored in April 2022 in the 2-1 defeat to Golden Arrows.
