Vumani bo! Siya Bvuma! Chiefs trio leaves impression

Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma has provided an update, from a teammate's perspective, on the progress of the team's new January signings.

Amakhosi's three new signings Tashreeq Morris, Thabo Cele, and Glody Lilepo have all featured prominently since their arrival, with the latter two having played every single match.

Speaking at the Nedbank Cup last eight draw earlier this week, Bvuma spoke about how the trio is adjusting to life at the Village.

"I think they settled in very well, Morris, Lilepo and Thabo. These are good players, international players. I feel like they have shown from the word go why the team has decided to sign them," said the Chiefs number one.

"I'm very happy for them and we are looking forward to having more games with them and, as you saw, they have been helping the team and that's what we need.

"So, we're helping each other and, as I said, they've settled in well and we can't wait to keep going with them.

"We have been playing very well, good football, the supporters are coming back to the stadiums and that's what we need. Having them in the stadium pushes us to give more, it pushes us not to give up, and give our best," Bvuma explained.

The Soweto giants have possibly their last chance to end a 10-year trophy drought with the Nedbank Cup, where they meet Stellenbosch FC in the next round.

Before that trip to the Western Cape, though, Nasreddine Nabi's charges have Betway Premiership matters to deal with as they take on Mamelodi Sundowns on 1 March.
