Kaizer Chiefs have seemingly been handed a boost in their preparation for the new season with a return to training for one of the squad's previously injured players.
The Glamour Boys started their pre-season campaign with as many as five players sidelined through injury, in Mduduzi Mdantsane, Dillan Solomons, George Matlou, Tebogo Potsane and Edmilson Dove.

The club's supporters will heave a sigh of relief, though, at the news that Solomons has seemingly returned to full training with the rest of the squad. The 28-year-old was spotted in the thick of things during Chiefs' recent training session video, posted on their official Instagram account.

Solomons had been out of action since May when he suffered a shoulder injury during training and had to undergo surgery.
"Dillon had shoulder surgery, so he won't be ready for roughly another nine weeks, although he has started running and rehabilitation," physiotherapist David Miller told the club's website in July.
The speedy player endured a bittersweet second season with the side, during which he made just 15 appearances, nine of them from the substitutes' bench.
Those numbers are a drop from the 26 appearances he made in his debut season for Chiefs, after he was signed as part of a three-man package from Moroka Swallows that included Matlou and Kamohelo Mahlatsi.

Solomons will now be aiming to make a positive impression on new head coach Nasreddine Nabi and his technical team, while also also facing stiff competition for a right-back starting berth from Reeve Frosler and Zitha Kwinika.
Meanwhile, having missed out on MTN8 action, the Naturena-based outfit will only return to competitive action on September 14 when they take on Marumo Gallants at the venue where they lasted play competitive football, Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein.
