A plea has been made to Kaizer Chiefs to solve the issues that have led to the club's eight-year trophy drought instead of pointing fingers at Arthur Zwane.
Zwane has just completed his first season in charge leading the club to a fifth-place finish.

The Soweto giants lost 12 out of 30 league games which is the highest number of defeats in a single season.
Uncharacteristic of Chiefs they also ended with a negative goal difference, the second time that this has ever happened in their PSL history.
"With Chiefs you have to put the whole thing in context because you cannot isolate Arthur Zwane's situation in one season away from what has been happening in the last 10 years," says Steve Haupt who coached Witbank Aces, Ajax Cape Town, and Santos in the past.

"There is definitely something that is not being done right and whether it is Arthur Zwane or Pitso Mosimane in charge it won't make any difference until that problem is solved.
"So, no matter who is the coach it will remain the same at Chiefs if that problem is not solved.
"Arthur is a young coach who has been at Chiefs for over 20 years and the way he managed Chiefs this season is admirable.
"He might not have gotten the results that he wanted but for a young to come into such a big club and stay calm is encouraging.
"With the right support he will become a good coach in the long run.
"Everybody must have a start and Arthur hasn't coached anywhere else except Chiefs having started out in the youth after playing for the club and then becoming an assistant.
"Now he is coach and being the Kaizer Chiefs man that he is I hope they support him all the way.

"Arthur us just a victim of circumstances at the club and needs to be given time to put his feet under the table.
"He is thinking forward in terms of the way he wants to play and the way he wants to get results.
"I think as Kaizer Chiefs, they have the courage to do that, and he will be extremely successful going forward.
"For me, he needs a very good number two and needs a broader technical team around him because this is what football has become and is no longer about one man.
"It is about a technical team that works together.
"Just look at Rulani Mokwena at Mamelodi Sundowns and the kind of technical team that he has around him after having had a good mentor in Pitso.
"He went through a learning curve at Orlando Pirates and Chippa United and has come back to Sundowns and become one of the best coaches in Africa.

"I think Arthur has the same schedule at Chiefs.
"Chiefs just need to have the courage to stick with him.
"In business you look at the books and see whether the company is successful or not and then make the necessary changes required to get success.
"You don't just hire and fire.
"The internal structures need to be in place and then have support from everyone.
"I think if they give Arthur the support then he will become successful," says Haupt.
