Kaizer Chiefs' transfer decisions have left the club faced with the need to make further decisions in striking a balance to the squad.
Chiefs have gone into the market to bring in Bradley Cross, Inacio Miguel, Gaston Sirino, Bongani Sam, Rushwin Dortley, and Fiacre Ntwari, while Njabulo Blom has returned on a loan arrangement.

Cross is a left-back who has also played as a central defender with his profile related to that of Dortley, who is a left-footed centre-back that can slot in at left-back.
Miguel is a right-sided centre-back that can also slot in at right back and as a holding midfielder in extreme circumstances.
Sam is a left-back that can also play further the pitch on the flank, while Ntwari is a goalkeeper.
Blom is a holding midfielder but has played at right-back in the past for the Soweto giants.
This then means with defence having been noted as the area of concern and then addressed from goalkeeper and across the backline, what happens of those that have been at the club already with Nasreddine Nabi indicating they are still in the market?
"We are still looking for more players in different positions.
"We are still identifying the positions that we need players in and are looking forward to getting new players in before the close of the window," Nabi pointed out last week.
Heavily affected is Thatayaone Ditlhokwe, who carries a relatively similar profile to Dortley and can also play at left-back like Cross.
Ditlhokwe could find himself down the pecking order with Dortley, Miguel and Given Msimango expected to provide the two central defence options.
Njabulo Ngcobo was the only central defence departure.
Zitha Kwinika is in no better situation as a central defender that can also play right-back, just like Miguel.
At right-back, it is congested with Reeve Frosler and Dillan Solomons, while Blom can be assigned there if the situation demands.
Out on the left where Sifiso Hlanti played before his release, Cross, Sam, Dortley, and Happy Mashiane will all be options.
Despite his injury, Edmilson Dove is still on the club's books and plays as left-back and centre-back.

This all adds up to one of the players at the back going out on loan or staying on to become frustrated due to lack of minutes.
Chiefs will only have a maximum of 39 games to play if they reach the finals of both the Carling Knockout and Nedbank Cup.
