Attacking midfielder Nkosingiphile Ngcobo has revealed his favourite match in a Kaizer Chiefs shirt as he approaches 100 top-flight appearances for the Soweto Giants.
Signed from Pietermaritzburg in KwaZulu-Natal to the Amakhosi youth structures in 2014, as part of the first intake of Chiefs' revamped academy, Ngcobo rose through the ranks and earned a top-flight debut under Steve Komphela in 2018.

'Mshini' most impressive time, however, would come two years later under Gavin Hunt. It was a campaign that saw Ngcobo feature 40 times for Amakhosi, as the Glamour Boys went as far as the final of the CAF Champions League.
"Joining Kaizer Chefs was a dream come true. I never imagined I would play for such a big team," Ngcobo told Kaizer Chiefs TV's My Kasi.
"I would say one of my favourite games was playing in the CAF Champions League Final against Al Ahly because I mean it's one of the toughest in the world, it's pretty competitive and it's one game I will remember for the rest of my life.
"I'm grateful that I was there representing the team.":

Since then, neither the 23-year-old nor Kaizer Chiefs have quite managed to reach similar heights, with injuries limiting Ngcobo's appearances to 18 in the 2021/22 season, 16 in the 22/23 season and just three in the current 23/24 season.
Meanwhile, the Chiefs also failed to qualify for the Continental competition, finishing fifth in both the 21/22 and 22/23 seasons.
