On Monday, the Naturena-based outfit also announced that before the DStv Premiership season starts, they will be taking on one of Nabi's former teams, in the form of Young Africans, in the inaugural Toyota Cup.
Nabi coached the Tanzanian Premier League champions from 2021 to 2023, where he won back-to-back domestic trebles and led them to the final of the CAF Confederation Cup in 2022/23, eventually losing to Algerian side USM Alger on away goals.
"For us, we will take this opportunity as well to meet our [former] coach again on the 28th," Ally Said told journalists at the Toyota Cup press conference on Monday.
"But personally, let me take this opportunity to wish him all the best. I know coach Nabi is coming down here; there are a lot of requirements, there's a lot of expectations from him as well as the technical staff and there are a lot of expectations from the fans of Kaizer Chiefs.
"So, we wish him all the best. He's a very good coach. He did marvelous with us; we won the league two times with him, we won the FA Cup two times with him and we went all the way to the final of the CAF Confederation Cup with him.
"So, the sky is the limit for him and with the best management and players that Kaizer Chiefs has, I'm sure he's going to do wonders here.
