Solomons laments one of the 'biggest issues' at Chiefs

Defender Dillan Solomons insists Kaizer Chiefs will have to start taking their goal scoring chances to finish the season on a high after his side scored just twice in five matches.

Following underwhelming season that has seen Amakhosi end their campaign with out a single piece of silverware and only a fourth place finish to player, the Glamour Boys are looking to collect maximum points in the final match of the DStv Premiership campaign.

Alarmingly, Chiefs have scored just twice in their last five matches across all competitions in addition to losing four of those encounters and Solomons believes this is one if the biggest challenges his side is faced with ahead if their clash against the Citizens.

"I have played with some of them (Cape Town City players) and I have seen others play. They are a very good possession-based team," Solomons told the club's media.

"They like to keep the ball and offensively, they are very good. We will have to be on our toes for that and be defensively strong and, when we get our opportunities to score, we have to take them.

I think that's one of our biggest issues. We create so many opportunities but haven't been taking them so, hopefully, this weekend we can get it right and score some goals.

Amakhosi take on Cape Town City at FNB Stadium on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 15:00.
