KickOff.com understands that the captain's stay at Naturena has been extended by two years.
As previously reported by Soccer Laduma, the midfielder's former club Sekhukhune United have expressed an interest in having him back in their set-up.
"Yes, there is interest in him. It's believed that it's not only Sekhukhune United who have enquired about him," a source revealed.
Indications from sources are that there were delays in the contract talks between the Soweto giants and Maart.
"Yes, they opened the talks, but nothing was tangible for some time. But you know in football, anything can happen," added the source.
The ambipedal star joined Amakhosi in 2022 and has made 28 appearances across all competitions this season.
