Kaizer Chiefs will play the Nedbank Cup final having clocked 10 years of waiting for silverware and with Nasreddine Nabi placing himself within one game of endearing himself to the AmaKhosi faithful.
Chiefs have a date with Orlando Pirates in the final on May 10 at Moses Mabhida Stadium in a dream final for the sponsors, pitting the two biggest clubs in the country.

The two Soweto giants have not met in the trophy-deciding match of this competition since 2006 when Chiefs emerged winners on penalties.
By the time they play again on May 10, the Naturena-based side will have topped a decade without silverware.
They last lifted a trophy on May 9, 2015.
Nabi could now put an end to all that waiting and do what Steve Komphela, Giovanni Solinas, Ernst Middendorp, Gavin Hunt, Arthur Zwane, Stuart Baxter, Moplefi Ntseki, and Cavin Johnson all failed to do.
While he has that possibility within sight, he remains adamant that building is his priority for this season.
“You know how long it took (Mamelodi) Sundowns to build this team and for us we are in the process and taking it step by step to build our team.
“From the last two games that we played against Sundowns, they were luckier than us.
“We deserved it today and now we have to think about the next one.
“We were more than sure that today is our game, and we will win this game.
“We came with a lot of confidence and as a big team like Kaizer Chiefs, you cannot lose three [four] times against Sundowns.
“We did it for the fans.

“When we discussed with the board, the plan for the season was to build the team and give our younger players a chance.
“You saw today, (Wandile) Duba was one of the best players and Aiden (McCarthy) is with us and every time we try to bring players from DDC to have sessions with us.
“If they deserve to play, they will play,” says Nabi.
