The South Africans left O.R Tambo international airport on Monday night, with the flight set to stop in Amsterdam in the Netherlands before it reaches the team's first destination of their European tour in Aalborg, Denmark.

Their first clash with be against the Denmark women's national team on Friday, 25 October at Aalborg stadium. The Danes are ranked 12th in the world, according to FIFA.

After that, Banyana will take on the no.2 ranked nation England on Tuesday, 29 October at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

When they face England, the African giants are set will rock a new pink kit paying tribute to the SAFA's "Football Cares" campaign. The aim is to raise awareness around breast cancer.

In a statement on SAFA.net, president Danny Jordaan said: "Choosing the biggest game in women's football calendar seeks to not only create awareness in the African continent, but also in a wider global audience so that when the African champions walk out onto that pitch all the fans spread the message amongst their loved ones to get screened so that they know their diagnosis early to prolong their lives.

"We are excited about the campaign and it's first initiative in partnership with PinkDrive for the football community led by SAFA to add weight in this awareness drive, together with our sponsors and partners."

Noelene Kotschan, CEO of PinkDrive, said: "PinkDrive's fundamental purpose is to contribute meaningfully towards preventing as many people as possible from succumbing to breast cancer.

"Our primary focus is mobile screening and education for citizens without access to reasonable healthcare in areas where health services do not reach. The partnership with SAFA increased our reach so that we can get our message to all communities we could not reach.
