Pele Pele have nurtured and prepared several players for Orlando Pirates' first team over the years
Sarr is now beginning a new chapter in management after hanging up his boots at the end of the 2022/23 season in the NFD with Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila.
According to Goal, the former defensive midfielder is equipped with a UEFA coaching qualification which he attained through the Scottish Football Association, as well as a CAF license that he attained through SAFA.
Sarr arrived in South Africa in January 2013, joining Chippa United from Senegalese side AS Pikine.
After just six months with Chilli Boys, he then earned himself a move to Platinum Stars, where he would spend just one season before making a big move to Pirates in July 2014.
In 2018, after spending four seasons with the Soweto giants, Sarr memorably denounced the fact that he was referred to as a foreigner in South Africa.
"Foreign is an acceptable word when used to describe policies, but referring to a person as "foreign" or a "foreigner" leaves a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths. Think about it: would you like to be called foreign?"
