Former Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Farouk Khan says there are no guarantees that Bradley Surprise Ralani and Andile Jali will succeed at Naturena.

Both players have been released by DStv Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns and they've been linked with moves to Amakhosi since becoming free agents.

Khan acknowledges that both Jali and Ralani are good players but questions if they'll fit into Amakhosi's philosophy and style of play.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Khan: Sundowns duo might not fit at Chiefs" story:

"They are too old for Chiefs," says Boss Ngida.

"Good players but it is a pity age is not on their side," says Eduardo Dos Santos.

"You really think that Chiefs can sign an almost 36-year-old, when they let go of their own legends like Parker at the same age? You must be mistaking Chiefs with Pirates. Chiefs, as swaak as they are, don't sign pensioners like Ralani and old bottle lovers like Jali," says Siyaz.

"Enjoy our rejects," says Saavedra.

"Ralani made a wise decision by joining Sundowns, as for Sundowns that was a big blunder," says BrutuswamaJuju.

"I respect your views as football is game of opinions," says chauke.condrie.

A goalless draw against Maritzburg United was enough to see Cape Town Spurs clinch promotion to the DStv Premiership.

Shaun Bartlett's Urban Warriors needed just one point to secure their place in SA's top flight, while Maritzburg United desperately needed all three points to succeed in the play-offs and retain their spot in the league.

Support from a packed Harry Gwala Stadium wasn't enough to spur Fadlu Davids' men to victory as Spurs finished the play-offs unbeaten without conceding a single goal.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "OFFICIAL | CT Spurs clinch emotional promotion to DStv Prem" story:

"Six points for Sundowns guaranteed," says Mpho P.

"My wish exactly. Hope the same for other PSL failures again next season. My prayers were answered. Clubs fail in the premiership and hope playoff will rescue them," says generalmj.

"Very good Cape Town boys, I wish these playoffs can get scrapped. Two teams down and two teams up, simple as that," says sebehlatshwayo1.

"Fart-loo Davids relegated Maritzburg...." says Eau De Parfum.

"My favorite team when I was a kid. Cape Town Spurs is back in the Elite league," says StheLucipher.

"Maritzburg United have the best attendance in KZN, I think. Yet couldn't use that as an advantage to become a formidable force. Now the gift of the givers are relegated," says Madiya-Ngalonde.

"I'm sad for the City of Choice and KZN Football lovers, but it's a good thing this flawed system didn't work for Maritzburg United this season. Spurs deserve their chance taking on the big boys in the PSL," says umbikosc.

"Sad news for us Pietermaritzburg residents but I hope this is a big lesson for Maritzburg, says morewasn.

"Minus 1 problem in Maritzburg, next should be Chippa. All the teams that run like a Spaza shop must be relegated," says makhause(2).

"Tjooo Maritzburg United, not even one short at goal. Congratulations to Cape Town Spurs... Coach Shaun did a great job," says Nhlax.

"Dankooo Spurs for sending Fadlu down, he has been running his mouth way too much," says Zam d King buccaneer.
