Let's take a closer look...

KO Comments

Soweto giants Orlando Pirates look set to go after Mamelodi Sundowns' versatile defender Mosa Lebusa to further beef up their squad ahead of next season.

Lebusa's contract at Downs is believed to expire at the end of the season, with the 30-year-old also being linked with a move to SuperSport United.

The Buccaneers have also been linked with Lebusa's ex-teammate Andile Jali, who recently parted ways with Mamelodi Sundowns.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Pirates set to raid rivals Sundowns for defender" story:

"Thulani Hlatshwayo was the captain of BB (Bafana Bafana) when he joined Pirates. He was supposed to assist them to win the league. He left Pirates as somewhat of a pariah," says Sva2022.

"Lebusa is quality," says tebohotau02.

"Musa is not a bad player but even at Pirates, he'll never command regular game time," says Shikabala.

"Like Mvala, he is prone to crucial mistakes," says Sva2022.

"He would be a great addition to the Ghost family. With the champions League experience and his aerial prowess I would be happier to welcome him to the team," says xemandla.

Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos insists the national team should not be criticised should they fail to beat Morocco on Saturday in their dead rubber AFCON Qualifier.

Both Bafana and the star-studded Atlas Lions go into the fixture having already qualified for next year's AFCON, and Broos feels that it's the performance that'll be important for Saturday's game and not the result.

Broos also said that if they do lose, it'll be an important learning curve for his players, who have a lot to do in preparation for the continental showdown in the Ivory Coast next year.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "'Don't start criticising the team if we lose,' - Broos calls for calm over Bafana" story:

"Haibo coach... talking about losing before we play... why?" asks Skyline.

"When is Broos going to be replaced. How can you lose a game before you even play it, yet you expect me as a fan to go buy a ticket to come watch you lose? What a joke," says Fela.

"He is coming with excuses already..." says Thembawamakhosi.

"We won't criticize, but we will call for you to be fired," says mogaleramolotja.
