DStv Prem star displays shockingly sensational cooking skills!

Lyle Lakay and some of his SuperSport United teammates seem to have found another hobby to occupy themselves with off of the field.

Lalas along with Selaelo Rasebotja, Kegan Johannes and others took advantage of the international break by literally cooking up something special, taking to social media to share what they had created!

SuperSport are currently second on the DSTV Premiership table with 23 points from 12 matches courtesy of seven victories. The side have, however, drawn and lost their last two games with Lakay's former club Cape Town City closely behind them in third with 22 points.

Nevertheless, sometimes a change of scenery, and a break from football, may just be exactly what a group requires to revitalise themselves to ensure they're at the best when the season kicks back into full swing.

The players looked to have transferred their skills from the football pitch right into the kitchen and while one may think that footballers should be familiar with being in the kitchen because of the need to make sure they meet the appropriate dietary requirements as athletes, this time was quite different.

It would have probably given viewers that feeling of looking at something from popular cooking shows such as MasterChef by the way they were dressed up in their aprons and how tense they seemed as they prepared their meals.

Lakay made some deep-fried delicacies while Rasebotja looked to have opted to make something more suitable for someone with a sweet tooth. Although they cooked and baked up different types of food, they both looked delicious!

Check out what they conjured up here:

When the international break comes to an end, the Pretoria-based side will jump straight into a clash with the inaugural African Football League champions Mamelodi Sundowns on Wednesday 29 November.
