When Skudu slid into Ronaldo's DMs

Mahlatse Makudubela shared his experience of being on the side-lines, close to the action, as he watched Cristiano Ronaldo in action.

The 34-year-old recently took a trip to the Al Nassr stadium in Saudi Arabia to watch the Portugal star and his teammates, which include the likes of Sadio Mane, Aymeric Laporte and others, in live action.

The former Young Africans SC star took to Instagram to send the ex-Real Madrid attacker a personal message. 

It read: "Could you please get me two tickets to come and watch you tomorrow playing..."

He capped the message of with the popular term "Siuu", made famous by the Portuguese. 

While it is unclear whether Ronaldo, who has about 640 million followers on the social media platform, responded to the South Africa, Skudu was still able to get his hands on those tickets.

Al Nassr took on Al Orobah FC in a Saudi Pro League encounter on Saturday, with the ex-Manchester United star netting from the penalty spot and Sadio Mane scoring a double to help the side emerge 3-0 victors. 

The knights of Najd are currently third on the league table, one point behind Al Ittihad and two behind leaders Al Hilal, but Ronaldo's side have two games in hand over the table-toppers.
