SAFA have announced a big new partnership with one of the most recognisable hotels chains in the country. Here's a look!
The story
On Wednesday, the South African football governing body confirmed that they have penned a deal with Southern Sun as their official hotel partner.
The deal will see the hotel company provide hospitality services both Bafana Bafana and Banyana Banyana, as well as the organisation's staff and guests during big tournaments.
Some of the perks including providing accommodation, conferencing, and hospitality services for various SAFA-related activities like Bafana's participation in major competitions like Africa Cup of Nations and FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

SAFA CEO, Lydia Monyepao, expressed her delight about the collaboration in a statement on the body's official website: "This collaboration with Southern Sun marks a significant step in ensuring our teams have the best possible support off the field.
"Southern Sun's reputation for excellence in hospitality, combined with their deep-rooted commitment to South African sports, makes them the perfect partner for Bafana Bafana. We look forward to seeing how this partnership will enhance the performance and well-being of our players.
She added: "Athletes need the best environment to succeed, and Southern Sun offers exactly that. From tailored meals to comfortable accommodations, our players and technical teams will benefit from their expertise in hosting world-class athletes, which will ultimately contribute to our success.
