After parting ways with Mamelodi Sundowns, experienced attacker Surprise Ralani has been linked with a shock move to Kaizer Chiefs.
Kick Off sources close to Ralani's camp revealed that Chiefs have their eye on several attackers, with the ex-Cape Town City being one of them.
Chiefs being linked with the 35-year-old indicates that they hold no reservations regarding Ralani's age.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Chiefs to swoop for "Surprise" new signing" story:
"How long is the contract? This question is for those believing that Chiefs signed him" says generalmj.
"He deserves to play for Chiefs, they like old people there," says Eduardo Dos Santos.
"He must go and retire with large amounts of money in wages like Dolly and Billiat," says HelsTheMan.
"Chiefs call the signing of a 35-year-ild shrewd? LOL. Having said that, the guy fits their profile well. He will be free after all.
"I do think he did very well each time he was given an opportunity at Sundowns. This does not mean he will do well at Chiefs though," says Sva2022.
"They enjoy our rejects. They were criticizing Sundowns when they signed him, saying he's old, but two years later they want to sign him," says Saavedra.
"I honestly understand why Chiefs folks have anger, pain and frustration about their tea,. It's like the Motaung's sit around the dinner table and joke about how they can stir a hornet's nest - testing supporters' emotional resilience.
"I'm a Sundowns supporter but I feel for these guys. Imagine Sundowns is busy scouting the Mbule's, Mendieta's and the Allende's of the world, then BOOM! come unveiling day, a 35-year-old player rocks up as a signee. Poor supporters are expected to applaud management for a job well done," says His Majesty Yellow Beast.
"I have decided to do the scouting for Chiefs from today onwards. Three players Chiefs should target: Feisal Salum, Fiston Mayele and Augustin Okrah," says MjepaMjest.

Percy Tau's Al Ahly side lifted the club's 11th CAF Champions League title after a 3-2 aggregate victory over Wydad Casablanca on Sunday evening.
Tau has been one of Marcel Koller's shining stars during the successful campaign, scoring five and assisting another five over the 12 matches in the tournament.
This is Tau's second CAFCL title, his first one came at Mamelodi Sundowns during the 2015/16 season and he became the first South African to win two CAFCL trophies.
Here's how the readers reacted to the "Tau's Al Ahly crowned African champions" story:
"Congrats to Al Ahly, they've proven once again to the Thee Only African Giant of Football, qualifying through a key hole out of the Group Stages, which other clubs usually win with ease,
I was just shocked at the tempers on the field, which leads to unnecessary cautions which may later affect the team," says Danito 4 Life.
"Tau critics are eating a humble pie. I remember how they criticized Tau for leaving Brighton. From bench warmer to Champions League winner, God is great," says Eduardo Dos Santos.
"I still say Pitso would have won this thing with ease," says Shikabala.
"Ruru [Rulani Mokwena], I hope you've learnt a lesson. You should have let Al Hilal smack you, and eliminate Al Ahly... When you were 2-1 up against Wydad, you shoulf have deployed a defensive wall and play skop donder futbol.
"Pave your way to lift this trophy, play pretty futbol only when necessary. I hope you've learned. Those are two BIG mistakes," says Zebra to hell.
"Apart from playing good football, You have to know how to play football politics which the North African teams know how to do very well... This was Sundowns' chance, they have a very good team this season. Best of luck next time" says obuka222.
