Head coach Clinton Larsen has issued a warning to PSL teams still underestimating his newly promoted Magesi as his side prepares to take on Mamelodi Sundowns in the Final of the Carling Knockout.
The 2023/24 Mostepe Foundation Champions are gradually finding their feet in the Betway Premiership and have fared even better in cup competitions.

Despite not being the favourites, or even expected to put in a challenge, Larsen's troops secured themselves a spot in the final of the Carling Knockout with a 1-0 win over Richards Bay in the semi-final.
In their route to the final, Magesi knocked out favourites Orlando Pirates and held both Cape Town City and Kaizer Chiefs to draw in the league just a week after.
As the season draws to the halfway point, Larsen believes the perception is gradually changing for those expecting an easy win against the Premiership newbies.
"You remind me of the Betway Premiership launch when Thomas [Mlambo] asked and said every team that looks at Magesi looks at free three points," the former Bloemfontein Celtics coach told journalists after the win against Richards Bay.
"But we are slowly changing people's minds that we are not that easy to beat.
"Maybe they are comparing us to what happened to Cape Town Spurs the other season, maybe that's the reason why people thought that way."
"But like I said, my job is to try and get this team as organised as possible and to make them as difficult to beat as possible, and I think we are on the right track."

Magesi are sitting in 11th position after six matches with just one defeat from those matches. They will return to action on Saturday, 23 November when they take on Sundowns in the final of the Carling Knockout.
The match will played at the Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein.
