Elvis Chipezeze's endeavour to walk away from the current campaign a winner of the PSL Goalkeeper of the Season award has received a huge boost after an announcement from the League on Thursday.
Chipezeze is slowly gaining a reputation for keeping clean sheets, with his efforts for Magesi FC now culminating in him being named the PSL Player of the Month for March.

Out of five games the topflight rookies have played this last month, he has let in no goals in all but one – a 1-0 loss to Kaizer Chiefs.
"Magesi's number one emerged victorious against equally strong competition from recently promoted Orlando Pirates defender, Mbekezeli Mbokazi as well as Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder, Jayden Adams," reads the communique from 2 Winchester Road, Parktown.
Meanwhile, his coach, Owen Da Gama, has been named the recipient of the Coach of the Month gong, having come in and reviving a side that looked a sure bet for straight relegation – notwithstanding the issues to do with Royal AM, who have played only 11 league games and are stuck at rock-bottom.
This marks a historical moment for the Limpopo-based outfit as these are the first two individual awards they have achieved since become an elite division club.
Goal of the Month goes to Chippa United star Azola Ntsabo for his strike against Polokwane City, a curling free-kick from distance, in a Betway Premiership encounter on March 15.
