Former Mamelodi Sundowns striker Sandile "AK-47" Ndlovu says the Tshwane derby still has a way to go to catch up in status to the renowned Soweto derby.
"The Tshwane derby is now just a normal DStv Premiership fixture," Ndlovu tells KickOff.

"To be honest, it's still going to take a few years for the Tshwane derby to match the Soweto Derby.
"The only positive about it right now, is that Sundowns have some supporters.
"For a derby to have that feeling, supporters need to fill the stands.
"The biggest problem is that SuperSport don't have any supporters. That makes it even more difficult to argue about a Sundowns and SuperSport match.
"But when it comes to Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates derby, because of the huge number of supporters in the stands, I will say it is the real derby."
Today the DStv Premiership log leaders host third-position neighbours United at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.
Matsatsantsa is the underdog, as they will be missing not less than five of their top stars.
A win for Gavin Hunt will see them go back to position 2.
"SuperSport they are a good team hence they are in position 2. Gavin Hunt is a good coach, he can easily snatch a victory, especially in such games.
"But with the return of Shalulile, I see Sundowns collecting all three points today."
