From his time at Chloorkop, the 26-year-old has 28 goals and 19 assists in 64 appearances.
This season, his return so far stands at 12 goals and 10 assists.
"With the schedule that we have at the club, it is kind of difficult to maintain the same performance at the highest level, but the ultimate goal is to play there (highest level)," he notes.
"We play games every three games, so the performance varies in that.
"But then the goal is always to play and perform at the highest level.
"However, with the travelling and games that come back and forth, sometimes there will be that drop in terms of the performance of the game, but it doesn't mean one doesn't desire to achieve more.
"I never imagined that I would be at this point in my life and career.

"But I'm grateful to my teammates who are helping me and the opportunity to be playing for the club after having come to the right place.
"For me, it is not about being a good player but more a good person, which is the ultimate thing," says Ribeiro Costa.
