Rulani Mokwena has hailed coach Hugo Broos for the loyalty that displayed toward selecting some of his key Bafana Bafana players for the Africa Cup of Nations.
The Belgian coach has retained the likes of Ronwen Williams, Percy Tau, Sydney Mobbie, and Siyanda Xulu amongst senior players for the trip to West Africa.
Themba Zwane has also been included in the final squad for the Afcon after was initially excluded from the national team when Broos arrived in the country.

Mokwena says the modern-day society lacks some attributes that Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has shown to his players including Sydney Mobbie.
"Themba Zwane the coach had written him off and said he was too old but didn't go to the media and (make noise), he allowed performances to speak for him. Today he is one of the most important Bafana players. Sailor Mudau the coach was resisting and resisting and what happens, and now Sailor is in the national team," Mokwena told reporters.
"So as a young coach, I look to Hugo Broos and learned two things. The first thing I learned is that you can always change your mind. Wise people change their minds but it is the performances that need to speak for you so that you change your mind and the second thing is loyalty".
"You see how loyal Hugo Broos is. You guys can make all the noise you want but Mobbie will be there, he is loyal, he is loyal to players that are loyal to him and I think modern-day society not only football lacks these soft skills and values.
"You can see Hugo is very old school, he says things as they are, and sometimes people don't like it because he is brutally honest but honesty, loyalty, and respect are values that modern-day society has gone without, they are out of the window. People are surprised when someone is honest, people are surprised when someone is loyal, people are surprised when someone is respectful, it's crazy how the World is at the moment and it's a very sad state of affairs," said Mokwena.
Bafana Bafana is set to assemble in Cape Town for a mini-camp in January before heading to Ivory Coast for the tournament.
