Maritzburg United boss Farook Kadioda has strongly dismissed circulating reports that he intends to put the Durban-based side's DStv Premiership status up for sale.
Maritzburg face the prospect of automatic relegation as they are just one point clear of the relegation zone, with both Chippa United and Marumo Gallants in 15th and 16th place to play this weekend.

"No, I have not considered selling the status because it's my obligation to the people of KwaZulu-Natal, and I owe it to the people of Maritzburg and the people of KZN.
"If the situation that I am forced to go out of football for other reasons, I would love to see the football brand of Maritzburg continue in Harry Gwala and not move out.
"I had offers before (but I turned them down)," Kadioda said.
Maritzburg United have survived the drop on numerous occasions in the past as they again look to save their top-flight status.
"For 20 years I have been fighting relegation with the help of divine intervention on two or three occasions, I survived," Kadodia added.
"The thing Maritzburg must be welcomed to this league for the marketing and for the good image we give to the PSL, we need to be applauded for it."
