The news about Richards Bay FC planning to announce their new head coach will surely come as bad news for Maritzburg United who were eyeing the Natal Rich Boyz's status.
Richards Bay announced on their social media platforms today that they will officially reveal their head coach on Monday.
The Team Of Choice are looking to bounce back to top tier following their relegation to Motsepe Foundation Championship last season.

According to a reliable source, United chairman Farook Kadodia has not yet accepted the fact that his side will be playing in the first division and still hoping for a DStv Premiership status.
"The reason Richards Bay was taking so long to announce a new coach is because there were thoughts of selling their DStv Premiership status," a source tells KickOff.
"Luc Eymael was suppose to be announced as the new coach for Richards Bay, but nobody knows anymore what is going to happen when it comes to that.
"But what I know is that Luc Eymael is on the short list of candidates set to take over.
"The manager James Dlamini Biyela wants Eymael to take over the head coach role, but he is waiting for the chairman Jomo Biyela's approval.
"Maritzburg United chairman don't want to get rid of their DDC players and SAB players because of his intentions of purchasing.
"There is a lot of uncertainty at the moment, if Richards Bay have changed their minds and decided not to sell it will be because of the R60 million asking price which suitors feel is too steep.
"So that's what was holding up Richards Bay in announcing a new coach, they were actually selling.
"And at the same time Maritzburg they were saying 'let's look around'.
"There's a lot of uncertainty at Maritzburg they are not moving along nicely as an NFD team.
"They keep telling their players and stuff, guys just give us another week or two.
"It's either Maritzburg United are selling or Maritzburg United are willing to buy, they clearly don't like where they are right now.
"They are contemplating whether to buy or sell, simple."
