Maritzburg United's head coach Fadlu Davids has been backed to steer the side out of the relegation zone by former player and current SuperSport United midfielder Siphesihle Ndlovu.

Ndlovu has his fingers crossed that his former coach, Fadlu Davids can steers United out of the drop zone.
"It's a club that brought me where I am today, I'll never forget that team and I wasn't really happy when they were dropping [down the table] but it's the game. It's part of the job we're in," Ndlovu said,.
"I wish them all the best, I wish Fadlu [Davids] all the best, I know he's a great coach and I hope they can survive."
The 26-year-old midfielder featured for Maritzburg United under Davids from 2017 to 2019, where his efforts earned the PSL Young Player of the Season award in 2018/19 campaign.
After an underwhelming spell with Orlando Pirates, the midfielder is now rediscovering his electric form once more with Gavin Hunt and Matsatsantsa.
Meanwhile, Davids and Maritzburg United will be looking to make it three wins from three when they take on Golden Arrows at the Princess Magogo Stadium in Durban on Saturday.
A win will take United out of the relegation zone and as high as position 11 on the DStv Premiership table.
