GladAfrica Championship side Cape Umoya United have appointed Maahier Davids as their new head coach.
snl24.com/kickoff revealed on Monday that former Kaizer Chiefs defender Dominic Isaacs was relieved of the position over the weekend and was replaced by assistant coach Andre Petim on an interim basis.

Now the club formerly known as Platinum Stars has roped in Davids, who moved with his older brother Fadlu to Pirates in January this year and had been serving as a youth team coach.
Maahier also worked as assistant coach to his brother at Maritzburg United not so long ago.
Umoya, which is part-owned by ex-Pirates head coach Roger de Sa, are seventh on the NFD table with 15 points from 12 matches.
