The Serbian was fired soon after Stars were booted out of the Nedbank Cup qualification tournament by TS Sporting in the Free State this past weekend.
According to a source close to Heric, the coach is set to vacate the house rented by the club today.
"The axe was already hovering on top of Heric for the past few weeks," the source tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"The situation reached boiling point when he lost to Sporting on Saturday."
Heric also confirmed his departure: "Yes, it's true," he said.
Ea Lla Koto are currently sitting 13th on the GladAfrica Championship log with only two wins and 11 points so far this season.
