Stars parted ways with Vladislav Heric on Monday after less than six months with the club after TS Sporting booted them out of the Nedbank Cup qualifiers.
According to a source close to Ea Lla Koto, Dlamini is set to be unveiled by the club this week.
"The club has engaged Dlamini to take over the coaching reins and he is expected to be unveiled by the club before the end of this week," the source tells snl24.com/kickoff.
Dlamini was on the books of Mbombela United last season.
