Johannesburg-based consortium interested in buying TS Galaxy status

Galaxy is set to go on sale if club owner Tim Sukazi manages to secure the status of Bloemfontein Celtic in the Absa Premiership next season.

Despite Celtic releasing a statement that the club is not for sale, Sukazi later said again on the radio that he signed a deal with Siwelele on March 12 this year.

The owners of ABC Motsepe League team African All Stars have now reportedly made enquiries about Galaxy's NFD status for next season.

"The guys are originally from Limpopo. They own security companies in Johannesburg. They are big-shots and ready to invest in football," a source tells snl24.com/kickoff.

"They are already running the football project with African All Stars and they have big ambitions."

African All Stars technical director Alex Bapela, who joined the club in February this year, says it is news to him that the club is interested in buying a GladAfrica Championship status for next season.

"I don't know anything in that regard. Maybe the management is yet to inform me. This is the first time I hear about such news," says the former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder.

Baberwa FC is another ABC Motsepe League side reportedly interested in buying the status of Galaxy or Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila.
