Namibian striker Bethuel Muzeu remains stuck at Black Leopards, where he will now spend a third season after the club placed a high fee for his transfer.
Muzeu delivered 17 goals during the 2023/24 season in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, which helped Leopards avoid getting sucked into the relegation zone like was the case the previous season.

The 24-year-old has already spent two years with Lidoda Duvha after having joined them on a free transfer from Namibian club Tura Magic – the same club that Peter Shalulile played for prior to crossing the border in 2015.
This website has been informed by contacts close to what is happening around Muzeu that Leopards are demanding amounts as high as R20 million.
The transfer fee was previously pegged at R15 million, but based on the history of transfers of players from the First Division, that fee was already exorbitant.
As it stands, Muzeu will stay on at Leopards for the last year of his contract after the club exercised the option of a further year.
The pacy forward signed a two-year deal with an option of a third year when he joined.
Further contacts in Namibia have expressed concern about Muzeu's mental state as he is stuck in a contract that keeps his earnings lower than what some players are earning back home.
His family has raised worries, while the matter has also been discussed with concerns in the national team.
Muzeu – who played at the AFCON finals earlier this year – is represented by a former Cape Town City defender.
