My Dream Team - Christopher Netshidzivhe

In the latest edition of My Dream Team, former Black Leopards, University of Pretoria FC and Dynamos attacking midfielder Christopher Netshidzhivhe reveals the 10 best players he featured alongside during his football career.

What formation?

"I will go with 4-4-2. I like the way it's balanced and the way it's so defensive."

Goalkeeper

"I loved Joel Masutha. 'Moporofita' helped us a lot at Black Leopards you know.

"There was a time where we played with only him as a goalkeeper without a reserve keeper."

Defenders

"My right-back is Wanani Mulaudzi. I liked the way that guy overlapped and covered his teammate. He could play as a midfielder and as a defender.

"Left-back is Godfrey Ramudzuli. He was short but he could out-jump tall players. Nothing bothered him. He feared nothing.

"My Centre-Backs are Thokozani Mnguni and Peter Mponda. You see these two bring experience.

"They were both good in defending and Thokozani Mnguni could play position 4 and 6 with ease."

Midfield

"I have two central midfielders in Duncan Lechesa and Hlompho Kekana. I will put both in there at the same time.

"Lechesa was a hard worker and Kekana was doing all the dirty work kicking people.

"Vusi Kharivhe will be my right-winger, then on the left, I will put Sibusiso Dlamini.

"Kharivhe will entertain the supporters and Dlamini will dive and get us penalties and free-kicks.

"Me I will put myself behind the striker. I'm the supplier."

Strikers

"Our lone striker is Mulondo Sikhwivhilu. His chest trap and heading is unmatched."

Substitutes

"My reserve goalkeeper will be Walter Khumalo. Big goalkeepers are scary.

"Left-back Eric Ramavhale will also be on the bench.

"I will also have Robert Ngambi and Jabu Maluleke and Magic Ratshivhadelo. We take out a star we put in another star."

Coach

"I loved Gavin Hunt. He made us love football. After a match he allowed us to party but when it was time to work he worked."
