Defending champions Orlando Pirates laid down a marker in their quarter-final tie after thumping Sekhukhune United 5-0 at Orlando Stadium.
Sunday's fixtures were a lot more tighter, with Kaizer Chiefs needing to come from behind to defeat to Cape Town City at Athlone Stadium.
Stellenbosch FC made some history after advancing to the semi-finals for the first time in their history after defeating SuperSport United 1-0 in extra-time.
Stellie's reward for overcoming SuperSport saw them drawn against the Buccaneers, with the first leg taking place at home.

The tie of the round is undoubtedly Chiefs renewing their rivalry with Sundowns, with the two sides having recently met in the DStv Premiership.
