Matsatsantsa shot down Orlando Pirates 4-1 in the Ke Yona final at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Wednesday to successfully defend the crown they won last year.
That now makes it five cup titles in the last 12 years for SuperSport, not to mention their three successive Absa Premiership trophies between 2008 and 2010.
Despite all that success, Daniels would prefer the Tshwane giants keep their heads down and focus on what needs to be done, instead of considering themselves amongst the PSL's elite.
"We have to be humble,” Daniels tells snl24.com/kickoff. "As a club, we are grateful for our achievements, but we won't say we are a big team, we will compete and always try to improve as a club on and off the field.
“At the end of the day, [what's important] is to become better people and better players and make our family and supporters happy."
Daniels was, however, still able to revel in their cup success and says the achievement is made that much sweeter by the fact SuperSport are now the first team to have successfully defended the crown.
"I think it was an amazing occasion for us, we end our season domestically with a cup, and it was special to win it back-to-back and make a bit of history and for that, we are extremely proud,” Daniels adds.
Daniels says he will continue playing his part in the team to make sure he realises his dream of earning an Absa Premiership winners’ medal.
“It's important to improve as a player and as a person, and I still have to work hard at my game every day at training, then take all that work I put in at training to perform to the best of my ability on match day, to be the best I can be on and off the field, to be a top professional, I think I will bring my part to the team to go for that league medal,” he concludes.
