Kaizer Chiefs coach Gavin Hunt has accepted full responsibility for how things have gone for his side thus far as he explained his recent selection.
Chiefs were bundled out of the Nedbank Cup at the first hurdle after a shock defeat to GladAfrica Championship side Richards Bay FC last weekend.
A total of six changes from their Soweto Derby defeat to Orlando Pirates the weekend prior saw the likes of fringe players Siphelele Ntshangase and Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya get rare starts.

However, the decision proved to backfire as four changes were made at half-time after Amakhosi went into the break trailing by a goal to nil, but this still did not pay off as the Natal Rich Boyz scored right at the death to walk away 2-1 victors.
Hunt conceded disappointment that opportunities were not taken, even by some senior players who came off the bench, but ultimately accepted full responsibility for his selection.
"We've got to try and use our squad and there's a few that got a big chance," explained Hunt to the media.
"Obviously the result didn't go our way, but there was a lot more [expected] even from the senior players, who came in and had to do better but didn't.
"So, all round I've got to look – obviously I select the team, so you know I will take responsibility."
The Naturena-based outfit will now have their attention split between the DStv Premiership, in which they currently occupy eighth spot on the log, and the CAF Champions League, where they are competing in the group stage for the first time.
