Kannemeyer: 'Just give Sundowns the Nedbank Cup trophy'

David Kannemeyer insists Monday's Nedbank Cup quarter-final draw is the least of favourites Mamelodi Sundowns' concerns.

Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, Sekhukhune United, Chippa United, Royal AM, Stellenbosch FC and ABC Motsepe League's Dondol Stars are alongside Sundowns for the highly-anticipated draw.

"It doesn't matter, Sundowns will win it anyway," Kannemeyer tells KickOff.

"I think they are an unstoppable man. You saw on the weekend when they played Al Ahly, Sundowns is on another level.

"So I think they will play to win the Nedbank Cup.

"I don't think they are worried about who they will get, they will just play to the best of their ability.

"I don't think coach Rulani is worried about who they are getting today, anyone who comes their way, they will face up to.

"I don't think Pirates or Chiefs can beat Sundowns in the quarterfinals, that's what I'm seeing. It's my opinion.

"Al Ahly is on a different level the way I saw them playing on the weekend and we talk about the local league...Sundowns is on another level.

"Yes Pirates did beat Sundowns in the MTN8, but I think this time around they want to win anything.

"Their players are hungry, and they are doing everything correctly. So just give Sundowns the trophy, I think they will win it."
